PEDAL FORCE MEASUREMENT / PFS SYSTEMS
Pedal force
sensors.
Every pedal.
Pedal force sensors and load cells for brake validation, cockpit ergonomics and professional simulators. Match the sensor, mounting and data chain to the test.

01 / SENSOR FAMILIES
Start with the pedal.
Select for the test.
From clutch actuation to high-force brake inputs, select around the real force path and the installed envelope.
AUTOMOTIVE / BRAKE VALIDATION
Brake Pedal Force Sensors
Measure driver brake effort with a low-profile, quick-mount pedal force load cell. Specify the pedal envelope, peak load and readout before selecting a road-test configuration.
LOW PROFILE / LOW FORCE
Clutch, Accelerator & Foot Pedal Load Cells
Capture clutch effort, accelerator resistance and industrial foot-pedal actuation without overlooking sensor weight, cable drag or the return mechanism.
SYNCHRONIZED / FORCE VS TRAVEL
Pedal Force + Travel Test Kits
Record pedal force and pedal displacement on a common timebase to compare stiffness, free play and loading/unloading behavior.
FX / FY / FZ • HUMAN FACTORS
3-Axis Pedal & Bicycle Force Sensors
Separate vertical pedal force from fore-aft and lateral components for cockpit ergonomics and laboratory bicycle pedal-force analysis.
OEM / DRIVER TRAINING
F1 & Pro Sim Racing Brake Load Cells
Specify a stiff force-sensing module for hydraulic or elastomer brake pedals, matched to your pedal ratio and controller.
COCKPIT / OPERATING EFFORT
Handbrake & Gear-Shift Force Sensors
Request articulated handbrake and gear-shift force fixtures for vehicle ergonomics and cockpit test programs.
02 / PEDAL FEEL
Peak force is one point.
Pedal feel is a curve.
Combine a pedal force transducer with synchronized displacement measurement to characterize stiffness, free play and hysteresis. Specify channel timing and mounting geometry before comparing traces.

ENGINEERING QUESTIONS
Before you freeze the test plan.
Does a pedal sensor certify a brake system?
No. A force sensor supplies a measurement channel. Vehicle compliance depends on the applicable procedure, calibrated instrumentation, installation, vehicle conditions and complete test results.
Can a pressure sensor replace a pedal force load cell?
A pedal force load cell measures foot force in N or lbf. A hydraulic pressure sensor measures fluid pressure; converting between them requires the actual pedal, booster and hydraulic geometry.
What does a complete in-vehicle package need?
Specify sensor, restrained mounting, cable routing, excitation, peak-hold or synchronized logging, power supply, trigger input and calibration. CAN output needs a documented message map.
Can I request handbrake or gear-shift force measurement?
Yes. Provide the lever or handle geometry, force direction, expected peaks and fixture drawing for an application-specific force sensor review.
